The authors discuss the history, objectives and norm-making process of ICC and UNCITRAL, and highlight the long-lasting cooperation of both institutions since the establishment of UNCITRAL in 1966. In a fast changing ADR environment, the work of ICC and UNCITRAL remain an indispensable reference for worldwide legislations and various users such as businesses and States.
