Abstract

Note from the Secretariat of the ICC Court concerning the Appointment of Administrative Secretaries by Arbitral Tribunals

English

The ICC Rules of Arbitration do not contain any provisions concerning the appointment of Administrative Secretaries by Arbitral Tribunals. Arbitral Tribunals do, however, occasionally wish to have the assistance of such a person to assist them with the administrative tasks of the tribunal.

This Note, which replaces the Secretariat's earlier Note on this subject, is intended to set forth the policies and practices of the ICC Court in respect of the use by Arbitral Tribunals of Administrative Secretaries.
