BALE MARKINGS
Peter, from my point of view the l/c conditions are quite clear by requiring "bale markings must include width and construction of the cloth and quantity in each bale". Just indicating the total amount of cloth would not be sufficient for me. But nevertheless you should convince your clien...

Pickup date and sign on the courier receipt
Dear Atif, from my point of view the courier receipt needs to be dated and signed. The L/C is rather precise in this respect."...have been sent to the applicant by DHL courier within 5 working days after the FCR date and courier receipt to be attached" For me this means that the applicants...

ISM Code Certificate
I think that you first have to clarify whether this vessel is subject to SOLAS or not (by means of a separate certificat or maybe mentioned in the B/L). If she is, I would accept this document. If not, I would consider this document as discrepant.

Fromm my point of v...

If two separate documents namely, CERTIFICATE OF QUALITY and
Dear Mr. Albers, from my point of view I would consider this as discrepant since the l/c definitely asks for presentation of ONE document only titled "Certificate of QUALITY AND QUANTITY issued ...". If the credit had asked for "CERTIFICATE OF QUALITY AND CERTIFICATE OF QUANTITY issue...

NON-DOCUMENTARY CONDITIONS
I think that this is not a typical "non documentary clause" since it might be connected to at least one of the documents required. Ignoring this condition might cause problems. I also would insist on a 'fcl/fcl' remark to appear on the b/l or an addition on one of the ben's docs (e.g.invoi...
