An AWB was presented quoting additional costs to the freight. Those costs were fuel surcharge, documentation fees and letter of credit fees. Based on article 33d we accepted these "additional fees" however the issuing bank involved in this case refused them. We are looking for other banks ...

If the credit asks for an export certificate and a licence is presented are they to be considered one and the same or should a discrepancy be called being that the document is not entitled as required in the credit

A beneficiary presented documents conforming to the credit terms however his invoice showed a $10.00 "lc deduction" not called for in the credit. Would you consider this as a discrepancy?
