Dear members,
Credit calls for a Courier Rcpt evidencing despatch of N/N shipping docs. We have received a courier receipt without evidencing a pick up date nor signature/stamp of the courier company.
However, bene confirmed that it was couriered and could be checked from the courier's website. We checked their website and found that it was couriered. The present market practise is to scan the courier rcpt by the courier companies at the point of pick up of the package.
Should I treat this courier receipt as discrepant, as it does not evidence the despatch of n/n docs from the document itself?

Courier Receipt
Dear Sumal,
You will find the answer in TA654rev. We should look for a pick up date in the courier receipt.
Regards
Hari

Courier Receipt
You might want to look at prior discussions on the examination of courier receipts that are outside the scope of UCP600 Article 25a and therefore covered by 14f. I started one on November 5 and there was a much longer discussion several years ago. Regards, Jim Barnes
