Bill of lading: ‘Delivery clause’

Post by NigelHolt » Mon Oct 08, 2012 1:00 am

The ‘analysis’ in Opinion TA675rev states: “There was no separate delivery clause stated on the bill of lading”. This seems to be relevant to it being decided the BL in question was not discrepant. Does anyone have any idea what would constitute a “separate delivery clause” please? Grateful for your views.

Bill of lading: ‘Delivery clause’

Jeremy,

When I read it, I understood a delivery clause separate from or in addition to or different from the general pre printed wording stated in the query
