Bank A requests Bank B to advise a SBLC, issued by Bank A to the beneficiary with Bank B's confirmation.
There is a requirement in the SBLC to present a beneficiary's draft to the confirming bank drawn on Bank A (issuing bank). L/C also states place of expiry is at the counters of the issuing bank, not the confirming bank.
Can a confirming bank confirm a credit where the draft is drawn on the issuing bank, and place of expiry is at the counters of the issuing bank?

Providing for a single "place of expiry" under a credit that permits presentation at more than one place introduces ambiguity and, therefore, risk that credit expiry depends on the date the issuing bank receives documents forwarded by the nominated bank.
