L/C states :
- Partial shipments allowed
- Origin of goods : country X and country Y
.
Does that mean that every shipment must contain goods of both origins X and Y ?

No, it's not required. If partial shipment is allowed, either X or Y or both country of origin will fulfill the given condition.

various origins and partial shipments
Hi,
Goods may have multiple origins. Where a certificate of origin is issued for a consignment containing a number of products of different origins, it indicates the country of origin against each product listed.
For example,
+ Product X:
Origin: Country X
+ Product Y:
Origin: Country Y
As partial shipments are allowed and if only Product X is shipped, the certificate of origin may indicate only the origin of Product X.
A certificate of origin would not indicate two or more country origins for one product. However, if it so indicates, it is acceptable.
Kind regards,
N.H Duc

various origins and partial shipments
What if all partial shipments are effected, L/C is fully utilized and all related certificates of origin indicate the same origin?
