issued at loading port

Dear all,

DC requires cert. of inspection ...issued at loading port.
Said certificate states that inspection has taken place at loading port but is no issued at loading port. I thought there was an opinion about this issue but cannot find anything
Would you accept it?

As it can be specifically seen from the document that it is not issued at the port of loading (and that it is issued somewhere else) I would very very reluctantly say it is a discrepancy.

The credit asks for issued at the port... the document states something different.

I cannot see any relevance in the place of issue of the document but that is of no consequence.

I don't know of any Opinion on similar.

Sorry, cannot help with an opinion. I would be inclined to interpret the requirement literally and therefore refuse the certificate for not having been ‘issued’ at the loading port, however nonsensical this might appear.

The intention is to have the inspection results at loading port (vs discharge port). Hence I have no problem to accept this document evenso not litterally issued at loading port

Sounds like a case of bad issuance.

Would you have accepted an inspection certificate "issued at the port of loading": but stating the inspection occurred at the shippers warehouse?

Was there any other information given in the credit that might guide the bank in their examination - such as a requirement the inspection take place at the port of loading?

Not sure it was a bad issuance as, not unfrequently, these documents are issued at the port of loading.
Question no 1: yes: 14f
Question no 2: nothing

Actually, what annoys me is that I was pretty sure there was something somewhere about this issue. Apparently there is not.
