Letter of Credit issued in June 2013 is silent with regard to the Incoterm. Beneficiary Presented invoice showing Incoterms FOB 1990. In my opinion above is not a discrepancy as LC is silent on the Incoterms. Any comments from the members

Of course, no discrepancy.
If LC is silent, you can use anything. Even no incoterm at all.

Agree. Not a discrepancy. Further Incoterms are sep. from LC's and UCP states that a credit is sep. from any underlying contract on which it may be based.
