The last paragraph of a (i) of above Articles all read as " Any signature by an agent must indicate whether the agent has signed for or on behalf of the carrier or for or on behalf of the master".
In UCP500, the agent signing for the master must also indicate the name and capacity of the party on whose behalf that agent is acting. Position Paper No. 4 also told us how the transport documents should be signed. Position Paper would have no position in UCP600 anymore. My question is, under 600, agent does not need to specify the name of the master. He could satisfy the Article by just indicate his name, signed and marked "signed for the master" or "signed on behalf of the master" ?

Dear Raymond,
That would also be my interpretation.
Best regards
