Yes, Rob:
1. I interpret the judgement as allowing a nominated bank to act 'after the fact'.
2. looks as if we 'purists' are in for defeat but provided we have absolute clarity from the 'Banking' Commission I am none too bothered.

Can anyone advise the conclusion reached by the ICC Banking Commission Meeting in Brussels on this subject.

It remains very logical to me applying the rules and reflecting practice that the nominated bank may act after taking up of documents by issuing bank.

What is the official conclusion?
