The next revision of UCP.

We would suggest starting revision of UCP 500 now on the traditional “paper” part whilst leaving the eUCP alone to be updated from time to time as necessary.
In this way, as Laurence suggests, revision of the “paper” and “electronic” parts can go concurrently in a “parallel run” fashion. When the time is right, the UCP X00 can then incorporate the eUCP current version as well. The UCP X00 may just resolve the problem by stating that the “electronic” part is based on the current version of the eUCP.
This is to adopt the time management skills of eating an elephant bit by bit, instead of waiting for the right moment to swallow the whole elephant by one mouthful.
