Dear all,

I have an LC which under “Transhipment” states: “Allowed with transhipment riskcover”.

Have anyone seen similar? And/or have any clue what it is that the issuing is expecting to find in the documents?

In the case in front of me there is not even required an insurance document …

Ps. I have asked issuing bank ... still waiting their reply

I have only seen this in a credit coming from India and requiring an insurance certificate which indicates "transhipment risks covered" (whatever that meant)

Did you get any answer from the IB?

I would be interested to see what they said (and eventually what country is involved)
