I would like to know the difference between B/L ISSUED
by ABC Shipping Company and B/L SIGNED by ABC Shipping
Compony.

B/L ISSUED by ABC Shipping Company :
No Discrepancy : B/L only singed by ABC Shipping
Company.
Discrepancy : B/L singed by ABC Shipping Company as
agent for XYZ Shipping Company as Carrier.

B/L SIGNED by ABC Shipping Compony
No Discrepany : B/L only singed by ABC Shipping
Company
No Discrepany : B/L SIGNED by ABC Shipping Compony as
XYZ Shipping Company as Carrier.

Please comment.

In my view, I think no discrepancies on case B/L issued and signed by ABC as Agent which may be deemed to Frowarding B/L and UCP.500 are acceptable and no ground to allege discrepancy.

I have listed out almost all the options in signing a marine/ocean BL, a multimodal transport BL, a sea waybill and a charter party BL in "Correct Signatory in BIll of Lading" under "Samples of Our Training Materials in T. O. International Trade Seminars" in my website.
