Dear all

Could you help below issue.

LC indicates port loading : KUWAIT port

B/L presented is showing
port loading : KUWAIT port same as LC condition.

AS per ISBP para 100, B/L must indicate the actual port of loading within the geographical area in the credit. I asked to Kuwait embassy in korea whether kuawait is actual name of port. The embassy said NO. But some internet site(http://www.shipbroker.net/enter/sear_port1.asp) is showing kuwait is one of Kuwait ports(Mid East/Persian Gulf).
Could you clarify the above issue?

According to Maritime-Database.com there are the following ports in Kuwait :


Mina Al Ahmadi
Shuwaikh
Mina Saud
Doha (actually in Qatar but managed by Kuwait port authorities)
Mina Abdulla
Mina Al Zour
Shuaiba
Khor al Muffatta

So there does not seem to be a port officially called Kuwait Port
