Dear all,
If the P/L showed different seal no. from the B/L, would it be deemed to be a discr.?
What if the different is just the extra letters, eg B/L showed Seal no. as 123456 and P/L showed Seal no. as 123456 APL?

Hi;
If the documentary credit does not specifically require the packing list to show the seal number, then the difference in seal number shown on B/L and packing should not be seen as a conflict of data.

Please see opinion No.TA708rev - In the context of the documents presented, the data relating to the seal numbers is not identical, but there is no conflict with the number itself.
