As per ISBP clause 46A the maturity date for complying documents would be xxx days after the date of receipt of documents by the drawee bank.
Who is a drawee bank - the issuing bank or a nominated bank. If the nominated bank has negotiated credit conforming documents and the issuing bank do not provide any notice of refusal, the maturity date would determined by the nominated bank or the issuing bank ?

When the LC was issued it requested that drafts at xxx days sight be drawn on a specific party i.e. issuer or nominated bank, etc. You must determine who the drawn on party is. If drafts were drawn on the nominated bank and that bank decided to take up or act on their nomination then they would set the maturity date. If no drafts are required or if drafts are drawn on the issuer then they must set the maturity date.
