B/L for ½ part of 1x20’GP container only

The B/L showing FCL-FCL CY -CY but also stated that : ½ part of 1x20’GP container only. Wherether or not this B/L have discrepancy as per para 114 ISBP?

If a buyer cannot obtain its goods with only the BL's submitted under a LC presentation it is generally deemed a discrepancy. Comingling is not strictly prohibited however honour of a LC depends on exactly what the BL states.

It is impossible to ascertain that the statement “½ part of 1x20’ GB container” implies that goods in the container are covered by the said bill of lading plus other bill(s) of lading unless the bill of lading states so, and that all bills of lading must be surrendered.

I’m afraid you cannot raise the discrepancy based on ISBP para 114.

I do not see anything in the data quoted from the BL to obviously suggest it transgresses para 114.

FCL-FCL/CY-CY means that the whole container is for one consignee from one shipper. So I wonder why several B/Ls were issued.
