I need your opinion as to the replacement of discrepant documents within the 21 days period( after notifying issuing bank of refusal of docs as art. 16c ). Will you consider the amended docs to change the status of docs to 'compliant'?

Yes.
The documents are held at the disposal of the beneficiary who has the right to withdraw them and represent the documents at any stage prior to the documents being taken up by the issuing bank.
Correction of discrepancies constitutes a withdrawal of the discrepant presentation and resubmission to the nominated bank. Provided that resubmission is made within the presentation date envisaged within sub-article 14c and prior to expiry, those documents will then comply.

Thanks.I would like to emphasize that my question relates o n l y to replacing of discrepant docs and not to a fresh presentation.
Of course ,we are talking about presention within the 21 days.
The main issue here is presentation of corrected documents and not a new presentation. Will you consider it to be compliant?
