Can I have your opinion/comments on the insurance policy, which shows at the bottom "Not Valid unless countersigned by" and underneath there is a signature. It does not say "by whom".
ISBP 745 Paragraph K5 states “When an insurance document requires a countersignature by the issuer, the assured or a named entity, it must be countersigned”.
However, the UCP or ISBP has not further governed the countersignature if the insurance document has not mentioned.
Is this acceptable with only the countersignature without identifying which party has signed?
Shall appreciate your comments on it.

Andy, thanks.
The case i referred to does not mentioned anything after "by", and the signature does not mentioned the name of the person/entity that is countersigned the document.

Shahed
