long/short name usance in docs

first,a happy new year to all.
i do have following problem:
l/c ask for bnf's invoice to show producer's name.the producer is the same with bnf. under l/c bnf's name is "abc co.".
also,under l/c producer is indicated as "abc co.".
the invoice states as seller "abc co." and indicates the producer twice, first as "abc co." and second as "abc". issuing bank rejected docs due to this reason. do you consider it as discrepancy ?

Since the correct producer name appears clearly on the document, we would not consider same as discrepancy if appearing twice in a slightly different way
