ISBP Article 77 and 102 (UCP 600)

Can i have your comments on the following query :

ISBP 77 & 102 states : if B/L is issued to order or to order of the shipper, it must be endorsed by the shipper. AN ENDORSEMENT INDICATING THAT IT IS MADE FOR OR ON BEHALF OF THE SHIPPER IS ACCEPTABLE. Does it mean that a third party other than the shipper endorse on behalf of the shipper is still acceptable ?

For example : The shipper is "ABC Co. Ltd". The endorsement either showing XYZ Ltd for ABC Co.Ltd or XYZ Ltd on behalf of ABC Co.Ltd. is acceptable .

Is there any ICC opinion on the above ?

Yes

It means exactly that.

For example I have seen examples where the logistics provider (new term for freight forwarder who also provides freight management and warehousing, documentation and customs clearance services) will endorse the BL on behalf of the shipper (often a large multinational supplier)
