Intended port of shipment
Intended port of shipment
Article 20 a iii describes the scenario if the bill of lading indicates the intended port of loading. It does not describe about the intended port of discharge. we have received abill of lading where intended port of discharge is shown instead of the actual port of discharge as called for in the credit.
Intended port of shipment
I would suggest that all ports of discharge are 'intended' at the time of issuance of a BL - so no discrepancy as long as the intended port of discharge in the BL is the one indicated in the credit.

Hi,
I agree with Leo Cullen. No discrepancy.
There was a discussion on the same topic in April. Just search the phrase “intended port of discharge”.
Best regards,
