If a shipment is effected with the same means of transport by inland waterway and sea transport as well, what document of transport would be appropriate?

If covered by one & the same transport document I do not see any reason why, in principle, a BL could not be stipulated. Otherwise it would have to be a combined transport document I suppose.

Agree with Jeremy. BL with a place of receipt or a combined transport BL (most appropraite). For UCP purposes the title of the transport document does not matter.
