INSURANCE CERT IS INVALID

Although it is not stated in Article 28, bankers may not concern themselves with the terms and conditions of insurance documents, in the same way as with bills of lading. I am hoping this will be made clear in the official opinions that will be agreed in response to the usual flurry -in this case, of insurance related- queries from the Turkish NC.

Anyway, this is not a discrepancy irrespective of any prejudice it might potentially cuase the applicant.

In fact, in many instance the 'small print' or terms and conditions in insurance documents is so small it is almost impossible to read.

I do not consider it necessary to examine this small print as long as the document meets requirements of Article 28 and the terms and conditions of the credit itself.

English is not my first language either so - it becomes very difficult to understand the meaning of some of these long winded legalistic styled manuscripts.
