Dear all,
I have a trouble in a case as follows:
+ Insurance policy not showing issuance date but at the end of page it has a small line printed that: “printed on 05 mar 2012”. Can I consider “05 mar 2012” as the issuance date of the insurance policy or I will raise the dscrp: “Insurance policy not showing issuance date nor effective date”?
In my opinion, the aboved mentioned Dscrp can be raised.
But I have asked some professionals in Trade finance field. One said: If the insurance policy is signed as UCP600 stipulated, it will be complied (i.e: 05 mar 2012 is considered as insurance issuance date). The other does not think that date of printing might be taken as a date of issurance policy and take it as discrepancy.
Because of these different opinions, I really want to have more comment in this case.
Thanks and Best regards,
Nguyen Huong Ngoc

Issuance date on insurance policy
At worst, it could be printed (pre printed) but not completed when dated. I am not comfortable at all with the way this document is dated.
Best regards
Daniel
