If I remember correctly a green clause credit in addition to the advance covered in the red clause l/c also requests for warehousing of the goods.

The answer to the question lies in art 21.of ucp,that all documents other than transport docs,insurance docs & commercial invoices should stipulate the issuer & data content of the document called for, if the credit does not do so docs will be accepted as tendered.

Mere receipt of the original B/L does not entitled the issuing bank to release the goods to the applicant, unless the terms of the credit specifically allow it to do so. however, prudence demand that the bene should question the applicant's intention for having such a stipulation in the credit.
