DCW Announces Additions to Editorial Advisory Board

Documentary Credit World is pleased to announce the addition of accomplished professionals Zahoor Dattu, Ahmir Mansoor, Glenn Ransier, and Kristine Siebel to its DCW Editorial Advisory Board.

Zahoor Dattu is a Senior Trade Services Consultant at Wells Fargo Bank (USA), having previously worked in Dubai at ANZ Grindlays Bank, Mashreq Bank, and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank. Dattu is the founding member of the informal Trade Finance Working Group UAE and an Ex- Convener of Steering Committee Members of ICC UAE Banking Commission. He has conducted many trade finance training courses under the auspices of ICC UAE and has participated in numerous seminars as a speaker and panelist.  
     
Ahmir Mansoor, a consultant with 32 years of banking experience and core competency in trade operations, retired from MCB Bank (Karachi, Pakistan) in 2021. At the time of his retirement, Mansoor was Executive Vice President & Divisional Head of Trade Services with focus on corporate clients business, elevating bank staff awareness on monitoring transactions from a TBML perspective, and updating the bank’s specialists and customers on the latest ICC publications. Mansoor has conducted many training programmes for banks and multinational companies and remains actively involved with banks in Pakistan.  
     
Glenn Ransier is Principal Product Manager at Wells Fargo Bank (Charlotte, NC) with global product responsibilities for traditional letter of credit products, demand guarantees, collections, and draft purchase programs. At Wells Fargo, he provides technical resource assistance in product sales, escalation situations, and marketing. A recognized trade finance banking professional with strong ties to the international trade community, Ransier serves as an ICC Banking Commission Technical Advisor, delivering official ICC Opinions in response to technical questions raised by ICC National Committees. A member of the ICC Global Task Force on Guarantees, Ransier played an instrumental role in the 2009 revision of the Uniform Rules for Demand Guarantees (URDG) and Co-Chaired the drafting group responsible for creation of the International Standard Demand Guarantee Practice (ISDGP) in 2021.  
     
Kristine Siebel, a consultant with extensive experience in standby LCs, retired from Societe Generale in 2022 after 45 years in the trade services field. She was a Vice President and Standby Corporate team leader at SG. Previously she was at Royal Bank of Canada and JPMorgan Chase Bank in New York where she began her banking career at their predecessor bank, Manufacturers Hanover Trust Co. Siebel has been a member and past Chair of the BAFT North American Standby/Guarantee Committee. During her career, Siebel chaired a number of BAFT workshops and led numerous presentations on Standbys. She was instrumental in the drafting and publishing of the 2019 BAFT Guidance Paper for Automatic Extensions and was named as a BAFT Ambassador of the Year in 2020.
