Criminal Fraud.
Note: The 7 th Circuit affirmed an appeal by Douglas W. Scott and Richard E. Scott from a conviction in the Northern District of Illinois (Norgle, J.) for racketeering and racketeering conspiracy and making a false statement and misrepresentation of material fact to the SEC. Among other things, the Scotts were convicted of fraudulently obtaining and using letters of credit.
