Surecomp has announced the opening of its Application Programming Interfaces (API) architecture to customers in a test environment.

The provider of global trade finance solutions for banks and corporates for thirty years says the architecture will help letter of credit (L/C) and bank guarantee processing.

Setting the standard

Surecamp claims its APIsure service is setting a new open banking standard in the digitisation of trade finance processing and connectivity.

The service, which is available to banks across the globe, is already being used by some of the largest banks in Europe for real-time processing of their L/Cs and bank guarantees.

Free trial

For existing customers, it can now be trialled, free of charge for a limited time period.

Surecamp says APIsure will highlight the importance of digitised trade finance in the age of the coronavirus crisis.
