BNP Paribas has introduced its Cypriot clients to an internet-based trade finance solution that will allow clients to manage several letter of credit (L/C) functions online.

Connexis Trade, which provides online trade finance solutions, was introduced to clients in Cyprus alongside Connexis Cash, which provides online real-time cash management solutions via the Internet.

Trade facilities

The trade finance suite allows clients to issue and amend L/Cs online. The system also notifies clients of key events in L/C transactions.

With Connexis Trade, clients can also manage other trade finance transactions online, including letters of guarantee according to BNP Paribas.

Cash management

Connexis Cash, the bank's online cash management solution, provides clients access to information about their accounts at BNP Paribas and third party banks around the world.

Transfers can be executed individually or by batches, and reports can be adjusted according to clients' specific requirements and structures according to the bank.
