International law firm, Eversheds, is to expand its operations by establishing a new International Trade team.

It will advise on letter of credit (L/C) terms amongst other things.

New appointment

A newly appointed senior associate, Terry O'Regan, will form the new team.

Regan was previously with Kuwait Petroleum Corporation where he was the senior legal advisor providing English law advice on all aspects of the sale and delivery of Kuwait's crude oil and petroleum products.

International trade

The International Trade team will advise on all aspects of international trade including L/C terms and shipment, contract negotiation and dispute resolution.

The team will be based at the London office of Evershed's, which worldwide has 47 offices in 29 jurisdictions.
