Note: The Canadian American Association of Professional Baseball, LTD. (Association) sued to confirm an arbitral and order entry of judgment in the North Carolina state courts, a matter that had been removed to the federal courts. The Association's Board of Directors, serving as an arbitral panel pursuant to its rules, had awarded the baseball League the right to draw on a US$300,000 LC posted by the Ottawa Rapidz, a baseball team that had been a member of the League, for failure to field a team in the 2009 season.
